Print Graphics...

It’s one thing to create a graphic which will appear on a computer screen (or on a tablet or smartphone).  That’s all done in the RGB spectrum of course, but it’s another thing altogether to prepare artwork for printing.  That’s done as four-color process… otherwise known as CMYK printing.

We have many years under our belt doing just that.  We are experts at file prep for printing, and we’re pretty good designers as well!

We’ve been doing print prep since the pre-computer days, when it was all done on a drafting table with an Exacto knife and a T-square, so we’ve seen the whole industry evolve from its humble beginnings to what it is now.

Just as a point of interest, that’s why we use that symbol in our logo which looks like a cross-hair.  It’s actually one of those old registration marks we used to place around the edges of our press-ready artwork back in the day!

What many people do not realize is that only 25% of the colors from the RGB spectrum are actually available in CMYK.  Imagine that!

So you may have designed a beautiful layout in RGB on your computer screen, but then when it’s time to convert it to CMYK for printing, suddenly you lose all those brilliant hues!

That’s just one part of the task of prepping for print which has to be taken into consideration.  There are plenty of other issues as well, not the least of which is font management, but we won’t get into that!

So whether it’s a flyer, brochure, menu, packaging, stationery, billboards, posters or even a vehicle wrap that you need, you can count on us to make sure the files are professionally prepared and ready to breeze through printing like a charm!

In regards to design for print… the sky’s the limit!  We can go any direction you wish, and we do!  Often! We are experts at photo-compositing.  We can put together any combination of elements, backgrounds, feathering, text, effects and execute extremely complicated photo retouching tasks.

So even if you’ve found yourself at an impasse on one of your own projects, feel free to give us a shout.  We’ll step in and finish off any complex compositing job that you might be wrestling with.  Just leave it to AdGraphics.com!
